I guarantee you that I will most certainly be here. But, not as someone who is going to teach, but I would like to be here as a student, because I am sure there will be a lot for me to learn from the kind of curriculum that has been designed by the Advisory Board. I want to tell all the students that are going to be joining this academy that Rameshji is a great motivator, a wonderful technician, a teacher who takes care of his students, who takes care of the artists on the sets. He will provide you a perfect atmosphere before enacting any sequence, he will sit with you, he will talk to you, he will describe, he will ask you questions, he will take some of your words of inspiration, whatever you felt about the scene, he will discuss it, debate it and on most occasions, incorporate it according to what the artist may have said. These are wonderful qualities and I feel this only goes in the making of better cinema. I think this great initiative is going to go a long way as a very important element for cinema in our country, and to make this country, which is the largest movie making nation in the entire world, also become the largest earner of export in a sense. The initials of the academy read RSACE. There is already an ACE in this academy and I am sure Ramesh Sippy will live up to it.
I believe that my respect for such people who earn from the industry and then give back to it goes up. Whatever they have learnt they want to give back to the industry. Some other people too have done such things in the past and I'm so glad that even Rameshji is being a part of this as people will gain from his guidance. Many people have asked me about RSACE and they are keen to join and learn.
The flames of SHOLAY are like the flames of the Olympic torch and for Bollywood these flames will keep burning as one of the greatest masterpieces and the biggest box-office grosser, which had the biggest multiple-casts project. I think there can't be a better person who could initiate such an institute for the future generations of aspiring film-makers. I wish Mr. Ramesh Sippy great success.
The Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema & Entertainment, where dreams get wings. Where can be a better platform for all the children out there who want to enrol into this course, because Ramesh Sippy himself is an institution of cinema. I don't think anyone can forget SHOLAY or the amount of things that were involved in the making of that film. That's where cinema started. I guess everyone is going to be really excited to be able to enrol into the courses and get a degree on top of that. All the best!
I'd love to say that I think it's a wonderful idea that a cine institute is linked to the University and these studies are now being incorporated. I had the privilege of working with Mr. Ramesh Sippy in several movies and I can tell you that there is no better person to have as the central person under whose name this institute is going to be made as he needs no introduction. He is one of the greatest directors in the country and overseas and has given phenomenal successes like SHOLAY. SEETA AUR GEETA, SHAAN and BUNIYAAD. It’s a huge privilege for me to be here and I hope that a lot of people will come to this institute and learn about cinema and the power of it at RSACE.
Mumbai, the city of dreams, the city of the Hindi Film Industry and the city also of the business industry. So, here is a chance now where Mumbai University is tied up with Ramesh Sippyji. Mumbai University is a great institution and Ramesh Sippyji is an institution himself. Such a great film-maker and now here they come together to collaborate to give students a chance to learn about films and the business of films. It's a wonderful opportunity if I were 18 or 20 again, I would enrol.
We make more than a thousand films in a year but we are not making enough film-makers. Ramesh Sippy Sahab with the help of Mumbai University is starting an institution. I am happy to be on the Advisory Board of an institution like this. I wish when I started off entering this industry there were many such institutions to teach me about cinema. I learnt it the hard way. The future is going to be better. So, I wish my friend Ramesh Sippy Sahab, who has left incredible marks on the film industry, and is now leaving yet another mark for perpetuity in the history of cinema. I wish him all the best. Good luck my friend.

We are extremely happy that a fantastic director like Rameshji has associated with Mumbai University and I think a lot of students will get a very good chance for proper guidance in film-making and all aspects of films. I think all parents should come forward and get their children enrolled in RSACE

Rameshji is an icon of the film industry. I think, better late than never! We were lacking his presence in this space actually, because he is like an institution in himself and he imparting his knowledge to the generation next, will be amazing. So I think it is a fabulous thing and I would enrol to learn with him.

I think it's an amazing initiative and I wish that we had things like this when we were youngsters, with the opportunity to actually have a degree at the Mumbai University and under the aegis of someone like Mr. Ramesh Sippy, who as we know as one of the most successful directors in Indian cinema and frankly one of the most path breaking directors in Indian cinema. The students will have the opportunity to learn under his guidance. I think it's a tremendous initiative. I think film-making really means reflecting what's happening in society back to the audience in as entertaining and engaging a way as possible and if this University can actually give birth to students who are able to do that, I think they will be doing a massive service to Indian society in general.
My son Shubarthee has always had a tremendous passion to watch praise-worthy cinema since he was a child. He was frequently vocal that he was interested in the art of film making and would like to take it up as his career and livelihood in future. As parents we were encouraging, but at the same time we were in a dilemma regarding searching out asuitable institution which would be able to impart this career oriented course in a seamless manner. Fortunately, Rsace was launched right at that time when we were at the crossroads withnumerous luminaries of the celluloid industry of India at the helm of affairs.
Rsace has served all our purposes. Learning is rigorous while teaching is learner friendly. The curriculum is vast, stimulating, though provoking and covers every aspect of film-making. Students get hands on knowledge for every technical feature of the curriculum. The classes are extremely interactive and collaborative. My son finds the syllabus riveting and looks forward towards his lectures each day. The lecturers and trainers are super achievers in their own fields and are extremely proficient in imparting knowledge as well as keeping teenagers engrossed in the lectures.
Our sincere most regards to Mrs Kiran Juneja Sippy and Mr Ramesh Sippy ! We wish RSACE infinite years of existence and earnestly wish that the Rsace motto WHERE DREAMS GET WINGS rings true for each child who has enrolled himself in this institution with dreams in his eyes and passion in his heart. We genuinely hope that each entrant to Rsace soars high and eventually becomes a part of the illuminati of the global film industry.
