Anuradha started her doctoral research work on Communication Management from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, which she completed from India. She has done her BA from Presidency College, Kolkata, and holds a Master’s degree in Film Studies from Jadavpur University. She has also studied Media Management from MICA (Mudra Institute of Communication) where she received a degree equivalent to an MBA. She has served in the TV industry for more than twelve years and has worked for cluster channels such as Zee TV and STAR News. She then moved into academics and academic management in the education industry where over the last eight years she has worked as Head and Dean of some of the leading film and media institutes of India. She has scripted and produced many short-films and documentaries and has published several research papers on media, culture, gender-studies, etc. on national as well as international platforms.
