Program Overview

RSACE Film Institute

The aim of the bachelor animation course in Mumbai offered by RSACE is to make students self-reliant, equipping them with artistic skills, technical knowledge, and a thorough understanding of animation tools and concepts. Unlike 2D animations, which are more superficial, 3D animations add depth, realism, and detail to characters and environments.
The program begins with art and design, where students learn the basics of drawing using pencil and paper. From there, students move on to using various software to master animation skills. Beyond drawing and character designing, students gain experience in modeling, rendering, texture, and lighting, which bring depth and vibrancy to animations. Virtual cameras are used to adjust focus, resize, and zoom, helping bring characters to life.
