With over 20 years of experience in the content world and making her mark in the feature story, reality shows, promos and documentary space, Kaveri Mehrotra is working on building new and interesting content where genre definitions are bending and the lines between scripted and unscripted are blurring.

Kaveri started her career with a lifestyle show on BBC World and has gone on to direct for CNN. The show steered away from the regular interview format and dabbled with everything from fiction to documentary. Scripted, conceptualized and directed by her.

She has directed several shows for Channel V and also started some of their then successful formats like Get Gorgeous which aired for 8 seasons.
She has also headed studio formats like India’s Got Talent and Dus ka Dum (Power of Ten), promos for the likes of Discovery Channel and documentaries including two with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev.

She worked as Senior Creative Director across projects including fiction and non-fiction web series development for GEC and OTT platforms.
She is focused primarily on content development and the creative process and directing passion projects.

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – launched the show with Viniyard Films for Star Plus, She also scripted a one-hour documentary on the evolution of Gandhi as a naturopath, his ideology & health solutions.
Before television- She Wrote for the Times of India, Hindustan Times and The Pioneer in Lucknow.
Acted and assisted for Expression Theatre Arts, Lucknow. Apart from this she is an avid yoga practitioner, artist and geek.
