Once again Sunhil Sippy comes to RSACE to share his experiences, his knowledge of the world of advertising and cinema.
Sunhil Sippy, an Indian film Director, A Mumbai-based photographer and Film-maker who has worked predominantly in Bollywood.
He moved to Mumbai in 1995 to pursue a career in film-making. He made his first film Snip! In 1999 which was the winner of the National Award for Best Editing in 2001.
Following Snip! He won representation in the country’s leading commercials production house, Highlight Films where he shot commercials for brands as diverse as Asian Paints, Pepsi, L’Oreal, Lux, Blue Star and Clinic All Clear. He became a partner in 2005 and remained with the company until 2013.
He moved on to be represented by Firecracker in 2014 and continued to work aggressively in the advertising world winning accounts like Lay’s, Ponds, Tropicana and Berger Paints.
He is a trustee of the Savitri Waney Charitable Trust which works extensively in rural India in the fields of palliative care, curable blindness and climate change.
Sunhil continues to direct commercials but is also a passionate street photographer.
Sunhil’s previous film to hit the theatres was Noor in the year 2017 starrer Sonakshi Sinha.
